Your Library Board Needs You!

Lac La Biche County Library Board is responsible for the management of our two sites located at the Bold Center (The Stuart MacPherson Public Library) and at École Plamondon (The Plamondon Municipal Library) plus pop up library locations. We serve the entire Lac La Biche County, including our surrounding indigenous communities.

Ten committed board members volunteer their time and talent to ensure that we fulfill our responsibilities under the Libraries Act in support of library staff providing quality services to the community.  We meet up to six evenings yearly at the Bold Center location for about 3 hours. Using our community-based Plan of Service we measure progress and make decisions regarding use of physical, fiscal, and human resources to meet library member needs.

The recruitment process and appointments are handled directly by Lac La Biche County. Contact Legislative Services for more information -https://www.laclabichecounty.com/p/legislative-services.
